Congratulations Tammie! The Builders’ Show in Orlando was filled with a lot of positive conversations in our booth and jam-packed educational sessions — two signs that the industry is poised for good things in 2012. And speaking of good things…

During the show, BDX’s very own Tammie Smoot was recognized for her contributions to the industry. Tammie was named Woman of the Year by the Professional Women in Building. This huge honor came as no surprise to those of us who have worked with Tammie over the years.

But she didn’t stop there.

Tammie also won the Bill Molster Award from the NAHB. This award was named for Bill Molster, an NAHB employee for more than 20 years as a tribute to his extraordinary services to the National Sales and Marketing Council. The Bill Molster is awarded each year to an individual (or individuals) who have made major contributions to NSMC and the industry.

Both of these achievements recognize what we at BDX have known for a long time. Tammie truly cares about the industry and works hard to create success for builders.

Congratulations Tammie — we are proud to have you on the BDX team!

We enjoyed seeing so many of you at this year’s Builder’s Show in Orlando. But if you weren’t able to attend, or would like to download one of the presentations from a BDX education session, we’ve got you covered.
